It's a serious productivity drain; I appreciate that my presence was desired, but I'm sure you'd prefer that I get more work done if you understood the degree of impact

Also, while some of the balance and potential change discussions we had there were helpful, there was some major fallout when we wound up doing something different than had been discussed there (mainly because a different team member was in the process of addressing the issue in a different way, not having known about the IRC discussion), and I have no desire to repeat that.

Probably not though, I don't have much else to do at the moment. If I actually had important things to do my post count linked to earlier in the thread would be far smaller.

But besides that, with some exceptions (freenode and rizon), every time someone mentions an irc it seems to be on a different network from any other one I've heard before. Multiple but unrelated bay12 channels (like bay12lb on darkmyst), the xkcd one on foonetic, I don't remember the tropers one but its somewhere, and now I find you guys and applidirc. (which looks more like apple dirk if you aren't paying much attention to it  )

If we werent already in appliedirc, I would likely suggest freenode tbh. Have a few channels I idle in there already.

We could probably make the channel bigger by adding that in-game IRC browser that was partially implemented before. Probably would have to wait until February though. That should give enough time to get the most hectic parts of AVWW2 and Shattered Haven out of the way.
