Why was I programmed to feel pain?!

Bought the game, messed around a bit... that was the first thing a robot said once I blew it to bits. I think I was cracking up for a solid two minutes after that. Gotta say this game really hit that turn-based robot exploding spot.

Yea, that's one of my favorite voice clips from the game.

We didn't actually have the voice part in mind in the design, but then things came together kind of suddenly and khadgar churned out those awesome voice clips.  The game became 1000% more funny for me at that point.

Which is just a shameless reference I was making to: http://www.teamfortress.com/macupdate/comic/ ; I always laugh when I think of the latter half or so of that comic.

Iirc I used a similar reference in the enchant description in AVWW with the one that gave you lots of +Damage but made you catch fire whenever you attacked.

 You know, what if the exceptionally funny lines contained url links to their source?

 Giving honest attribution is one thing, distracting your players into hilarious oblivion on TV-Tropes or DF-jokes is another. I would be glad if games helped me discover awesome humour websites. That's the nice thing about being a part of a good game-art community.

It shows when you mouseover the overload button, but: 4.

8 when it goes off automatically on-death.

Yes, I remember now. It would be a nice extra touch to have it somewhere outside the missions - I haven't managed to loot one with it so I've never equipped one so far. This will go on the wiki sometime.

Just rememer - When buffing your Plasma Cannon, always make sure the Splash Distance stat is LESS than the Range stat.
Not that I'm speaking from experience, of course.  I'd never make that mistake, and there's no evidence left to contradict me.

There is the forum for that.

 Oh, on this point... only a minority of people in any game bother to participate in the forums. However, a majority of them are in social media and can benefit are being made humor-aware. It's selection effect to conclude that the forums alone are sufficient destination for the userbase.

 Besides, the point passes quickly. I'd reckon the longer it takes between the average punchline and further reading, the less likely people are going to remember. The effort required to come onto these forums is more than googling it directly, which is in turn more than offering "if you enjoyed that one, have a look at this place".

 I'm more strictly talking about increasing user-enjoyment on a level apart from the game itself. All hobbies can be more than themselves, it would be nice if they are.
