Fascinating pair of articles. Most interesting to me is in the second one where they note that it has to be recalibrate every day for each pilot because brain signals change. They also only have two concepts apparently, which is to make the swarm closer or further apart; the article makes it sound like more, but I'm not sure. They do it by either focusing on breathing or imagining making a fist of their left hand. Even those things move around a ton in the brain! How complicated. Genetically engineered raptors are definitely simpler... ;)

LOL.  I posted that here because I wondered if your lore had Exos (or their control interface, at least) being invented at ASU...

Hahaha, that would be awesome.  But no, we try to avoid real institutions just in case of legal issues.
