It's indeed an awesome game. It's very overwhelming at first, but much like AI War becomes strangely simple once you figure it out. There's not a whole lot bad about it, even for an "alpha" (since you guys said it was basically 90% done, this is probably why), and Misery basically covered everything I said and much more in his big post o' feedback. Still, I'll be playing a lot more.

I'm getting the same feeling.  A tutorial will go a long way toward taking care of the 'overwhelming' part.  Wish I could play more tonight, but I need to get to bed.

In my case, I havent played Minecraft in a couple of days;  and this right after Mojang released what I'm calling the Holy Grail of Minecraft snapshots, too.   Instead, I've been playing this.

I've listened to Eyes of the Machines maybe two dozen times now.

(Incidentally, I found it amusing that the album art VLC displays for it after today's patches is the Vengeance of the Machine banner.)

As a side note, I think that somehow you need to work in calling the interface/side bars the Human-Machine Interface (HMI). I say this because it sounds cool, is fitting with the exo theme, and is even a real thing (but not as cool as you might be imagining heh).
