Yes, I agree with this suggestion to buff the GalaxyBot by giving it an ammo-limited version of the SkyBot's special ability. It would make GalaxyBots marginally more useful if they could spend their 3 ammunition to create 3 DumBots instead of spending it on their own significantly more powerful range-4 attack that has a special effect which is useless to the player. After all, who wouldn't want to have 3 nearly-useless allies instead of one somewhat useful one?
Making SkyBot DumBot spawns ammo-limited, though? Now that's just crazy talk. How else can you get your nearly infinite swarms of nearly-useless and nearly always in the way assistants? I mean, having a mere hundred of them? Geez, that's barely even a Redshirt Battalion for a B action movie.
(Sarcasm aside, I would be willing to support SkyBots receiving a cap on the number of player-friendly DumBots which may be spawned. I would not be all that willing to support a cap on the number of player-hostile DumBots which a SkyBot can spawn, simply because it gives you a reason to want to kill or convert the SkyBot relatively quickly and I'm fairly certain that the SkyBot's DumBot spawns do not give you money when you kill them, so 'farming' them just wastes ammunition. I also like Hearteater's suggestion where attacking the SkyBot turns all the spawns hostile.)
