I am unable to click on or select the brawler in this save. There was an explosion, and it switched out to a different robot. My brawler still looks like it's alive, but it's not selectable.

Another bug, this one is a trap address being displayed.

Remember my random exploding enemy robot question?

Look at this message log, the wyverns are going after the blasters.

Not that I object... But maybe it's not intended.

That save game above is now bugged. All my other robots died, so I'm staring at an empty screen.

More rapid fire reactions from me:

I just figured out system damage. Okay, cool mechanic. This needs to be reflected with the GUI. If my shotgun or machine gun system is damaged, that ability should be covered with slashes or garbled with ones and zeros, or something indicative that I have been damaged.

Suggestion: Ironman mode. When you die, so does your save. Should be a mode that provides extra loot or some kind of incentive, or move this to expert.

Good thoughts all, thanks.  I split the topic since the other I wanted to reserve for Q&A type things.

In behemot missions there are terminals that modify scavenging and manufacturing levels. But their change is by 1 currently which compared to their values (in 10's or 100+) seems insignificant.

Those terminals are actually all over the place, just not in huge numbers.  The insignificance is really a part of them, honestly -- if it were too much, that wouldn't be great.  But you can literally set the robots behind by a day or two if you specialize in hacking and take a lot of these out.  It's not something that you can just instantly take them way back with once or twice, though, by design.

On 4 missions I found 2 total - I guess thats why I thought they are specific for Behemots missions. Had 2 of them only there. I'm restarting on Normal diff and will see how it goes.

They are pretty rare, yeah.

Sooo I started normal game. Yeah that would be as far as I got.

If that 1st set of bots is handcrafted.. then I'm not sure I want to look further.
Place was full of Doombots and Raptorbots plus some strange ones that electrify floor permanently.
Is that by design?
Compared to easy this got quite a bit into hardcore territory.

Wait, what?  Those are definitely not intended.  I get the feeling my handcrafted stuff is not actually making it into the first levels based on recent comments.  Are you on the latest version for sure, just to check?

I just verified.
I'm on 0.903. After I restarted mission set of bots seems to be different.
I still have Avalanche ones and Raptors.. and ofc Doombots. Strangely the one I encountered was not gathering attack power.

Additional question:
How does one get systems damage?

This is a bug then, sorry.  I'll fix that when I finish updating some of this other stuff so there are stat descriptions.

Bots have a random chance of landing that on you, as do some other damage sources.  If you have system hardening on your systems, or generalized system hardening on your shields subsystem, you can drastically reduce the chance of system damage.

I can confirm that Avalanches, Raptors and Doom Bots can be encountered during the first 5 days on Normal. I just met them ;D.

Concerning system damage, I think the game dearly needs some indicator that allows the player to check which subsystems of which Exo are currently damaged. IIRC the fact something got damaged does not even make it to the message log. Maybe add some kind of "character" menu ot tooltip for each Exo indicating its stats and current status? You know, like the character sheet/menu in a proper roguelike ;). That's something I missed for sure - if I get the changes for .904 right you might be able to reuse the stats section just added to customization...

Yep, thanks, just found and fixed that!

Noted, I've added that to my list.

This is already there!  Left click your character icon on the left of the screen, or right click any exo, to see this.  Right now you have to hover to get those stats on the screens, but they are still there.  0.904 makes the stats more there.

Actually I seen a message that system x got damaged or something similar.
It can be easily lost in message log.
