New update missing executable

Bionic Dues just updated on Steam, and when I try to launch it, it says Missing Executable.  Verifying files didn't help.  Neither did restarting steam.

Grr.  I have not updated it, although I have been trying and it's timing out.  I'm not sure what is going on, it seems to be a general system glitch right now.  Can you check and see if the actual executable is there in the folder and Steam just can't find it?

I looked, and it's really not there.

Okay.  Well, not a lot I can do until they fix whatever it is, unfortunately.  I'm seeing what I can see...

No big deal.  Not playing it for a little bit won't kill me.  Probably.

For what it's worth, I can duplicate the issue on my machine.

Heh.  I've just emailed Valve about it, so we'll see what happens now.  I imagine it's either a quick fix on their part, or else something larger that they already know about.

Update: it's a known issue at the moment, affecting everybody.  Not the deleting of executables hopefully, I don't know what that's about.  But the inability to publish updates, which is affecting everyone, should pass within a couple of hours, apparently.

I'm unable to even access Steam at the moment so annoying, maybe this is linked to the issue.

I still managed to find and file a "bug" without even playing the game.

I was thinking about copying game out of steam to nice warm directory somewhere..
Need to do that next time. Will test standalone updater too

There isn't a standalone updater for this one yet, sorry.

I will keep trying throughout the evening, sorry about this.  Steam as a whole is still having loads of trouble it seems.
