after virusing an ammobot, try and surround it with turrets so it cant move.  You now have an unlimited supply of ammo anytime you need it.  You may need the assistance of a floor plate or empbot to keep it still long enouph to do so, but few things are as entertaining as an epic siege exo standing next to an ammobot.

Almost all stat upgrades are multiplicative, adding percentage boni - but some are not. Using the right choice or combination of additive and multiplicative boni is key to getting the most out of your upgrades.

For example: When upgrading attack power, ammunition or AoE, you always need to find the right trade-off between boosting your weaknesses and reinforcing your strengths, since these upgrades will provide lower effective advantages to weaker weapons. But adding range to a weapon is a straightforward affair, and short-range weapons profit far more greatly from it. Using welding lasers or shotguns on enemies ten fields away? Fukc yeah!

Stealth actions are a similar affair. Additional stealth actions can only be gained through propulsion upgrades, whereas propulsion multipliers can be found for almost any part time. Therefore it is important to put as many stealth actions as possible into propulsion slots while percentage-based propulsion upgrades can be found just as well for weapons, shields, reactors and computer parts.

Don't be as "clever" as me and don't use virus on Blaster Master (or how is he called). Unless you love missing every other shot :P

Come to think of it...

You do not need a sniper. If you want devastating damage, use the Siege Exo. If you want long range, use a Science Exo. If you want to attack without being counter-attacked, use the Ninja Exo.

Snipers are overrated. Always.

(Except for during the Winter War).

Science Exos no longer have those uber-turrets with 80 range. Ninjas run out of stealth at higher difficulties.. However, Sieges do have those ridiculous shadow torpedos wit far more utilty than railguns. Doubling up on two epic Sieges is probably a surer er bet than Epic Siege/Sniper....

Speaking of Epic Siege/Siege, how do Epic upgrades work when you have multiple Exos of the same type?

Speaking of Epic Siege/Siege, how do Epic upgrades work when you have multiple Exos of the same type?
If you have, say, Assault/Science/Siege/Siege then the city map will only have 3 bahamut nodes (instead of 4), one for each distinct type.  And winning the Siege one will upgrade both Siege's.

So if you go 4xSiege you only need one Bahamut mission to get all 4 upgraded, but you're really rolling the dice on how hard that single Bahamut might be to find.
