So steam hasn't yet uploaded the latest patches. This is insupportable!

Can I take my steam key and unlock the non-steam version of the game with it?

It has. You will have to opt in into the beta branch to get 1.001 .

Clicking the Patch Notes button in the main menu still opens the Alpha page of the wiki, though.

Glad that fixed it, but, for others who might have this question, there is no non-steam version of the game. Even buying this one directly from our store will get you a Steam key.

Yes. TBH, I don't have time to respond to every PM I get sent for the alphas before it's time. When alpha time rolls around, all the PMs stay in my inbox.

Yeah, the system actually defaults to auto-deleting your sent PMs. I'm not sure why. You can turn that off if you wish, but, you'll have to google how, as it's been so long that I don't remember.

Are you saying it gives you a steam key, but that you  'Don't have to use it'?
