Yes, I know how to activiate the steam game, but I prefer to play in "clear" version of your game. That's why I'm asking, because I've read in previous posts, that there is a possibility to activate "non-steam" version of VWW2 with steam-key.
It's not possible to do that directly, sorry -- our games don't know how to read steam keys, as those are internal to steam and we have no way of determining if they are valid or not. However, for Valley1/2, once you have activated your steam key on steam, you get CD keys that you can use. The CD key from Valley 1 can be used to unlock the DRM-free copies of Valley 1 and 2 from our website (the Valley 2 CD key on Steam can only be used to unlock steam copies of Valley 2, to warn you).
For Shattered Haven, there is no CD key and thus there's no way to activate that outside of Steam itself. However, the steam version is actually DRM-free, in the sense that you can just play that version without Steam running, or even in a different folder if you copy it somewhere else. Once steam has downloaded the game for you, it's simply a drm-free version on your computer.
Cheers!
