no controller works

xbox controller dont works , logitech rumblepad dont works

only mouse and keys.....

need to solve the problem

cannot map  , game dont detect nothing , buttons , axys , nothing.

thats a pitty , no metroidvania xperience without a pad....

Just to be sure, is your controller working with other games? Others have used them just fine.

Make sure the controller is plugged in before the game is started; there's a bug in the version of unity that we're using that won't detect new controllers that are plugged in after the game is started.  Beyond that, I've never heard of a gamepad not being recognized by the engine when it's hooked up.  If it's not even letting your remap or anything, then it's at the engine level or hardware or OS level, and there's likely not a whole lot we can do because the engine isn't telling us that the gamepad even exists. :/

yep , i "put on" the controller before the game starts

last microsoft driver , etc etc
win 7 64 bit , more info ....

game dont detects nothing , no remap , nothing

I'm sorry, it sounds like there's something wrong outside the game from all I can tell.  We have loads of people who use controllers, and controller detection is handled via the Unity 3D engine which is used by thousands of developers, and I'm not aware of this issue aside from your specific case.  That really makes it sound like there's something going on with your specific box, unfortunately.

ok mates

drivers out , new drivers installed , and voyla ! it works !

I'm very happy

but , left stik dont work for movement , only works D pad for movement , any idea?

by the way .... greetings from Spain (like Mordor in poor mode)

Glad that worked!

For the left stick and the D-pad, those are both different axes.  If you just go in and remap the axes for movement to be whichever you prefer, you're all set.  Personally I think that the D-pad is way easier to control the game with compared to an analog stick, but that's just me. :)  You can set it up however you like!
