activated stolen key

I got a present key A Valley Without Wind, activated the game on Steam and registered, terrace it turns out that the game may be illegal what I do. I fear that I can get a ban acout

Were you gifted the game through steam?  If not, where was it purchased?

Anyway, in general, I don't think I've heard of anyone getting a steam-ban for registering a key that didn't belong to them (i.e. that someone else had a proof of purchase for, and hadn't given the key to person using it), but if someone else presents their proof of purchase for that key to steam when they aren't able to register it, the game would probably get pulled off your account.

No I got a key from a friend and he got the key on some forum.
or you can check whether the key is legal?

If he got the key from some forum, then most likely it is not legal.  We gave out a very few keys through steamgifts.com, and then someone keygenned a ton more and really took advantage of the situation.  You can PM your key to cupogoodness on the forums here to see if it's one of the few that were legitimately given out.

If it's an illegal key, I suggest contacting Valve support and asking for them to deactivate the game from your account because there was an accidental registration based on someone else's fraud, and that you took the steps to rectify it as soon as you heard wind that something might be up.  If they give you any trouble about that, please refer them to us.
