I just started this game using a Logitech double stick controller, mapped it, and away I go. The problem I'm having is that when I aim using the secondary stick, the aiming cursor snaps back over my character as soon as I release it instead of staying where I pointed it. This makes it impossible to use any of the other gamepad buttons besides the triggers/bumpers while I am aiming due to having to keep my right thumb on the stick0, making the game unplayable
I looked around for a persistent aiming or other similar setting in the menu, messed around with the "axis noise cancellation" settings, and triple checked my maps to make sure that nothing is accidentally double mapped or anything like that, but nothing I did works. I tested my controller using other games and a testing program to make sure it's not the sticks themselves, and they are fine and work as they should.
So it seems like it's in the game. Is there any way to fix this?
EDIT: Another strange thing I just noticed is that when I go to map a stick axis it automatically goes to Gamepad Axis 3 (neg), as if it is reading me pointing it in that direction even though its centered. No other game has this problem, and the gamepad test I ran (again) shows that everything checks out and that the stick is where it should be when centered.
