[GFX] Battle Moon Wars Character Textures

Played the game for one day and thought immediately how I would like to have a custom character. Well, you can't change the names of your characters, but you can replace the textures, and so I found some sprites from the doujin game "Battle Moon Wars" and used them. Credit goes to Dazz at the Spriter's Resource, and Nightmare at spritedatabase.net for the sprites.

There are currently three characters:
Saber (Marie, Ice Age)
Archer (Richard, Ice Age)
Rin Tohsaka (Samantha, Industrial Revolution)

Rin: (NOTE: Rin's sprites from BMW do not have any walking animations, so she'll float. It's weird, but I can't do anything about it! Sorry!)

Place in steamapps\common\a valley without wind\RuntimeData\Texture Packs

Let me know if there's anything I can improve!

EDIT: Here's a template for making/spacing the walking animations that I made quickly.

Yes it is. Though this makes me wonder how a touhou character would look in that style of fwooshing about and jumping and so forth.

To be honest it shouldn't be too difficult to adapt one of the Immaterial and Missing Power/Scarlet Weather Rhapsody sprites to use. Except for the walking thing, that's very frustrating.

Anyhow, updated the pack with a new Archer sprite!

Incredible, I've been chatting with another friend about 'Fate' and here it is in AVWW. Great job, will download after finals!

The full filepath should look something like a valley without wind\RuntimeData\TexturePacks\BMW\Images\Characters\Marie (and Richard)

Since they replace only two Ice Age characters, it's very possible that, if you're starting a new character, you simply did not have a pick of any of the characters it replaces - same with playing an existing character. If you're still having problems, let me know!

Good luck! I'm actually trying to rescue more survivors in my own single-player game so that I know who's who when I replace more characters.

I want MORE... this is awesome hopefully someone takes the time to add more sprites for monsters too...

Also.. I just notice how urgently AVWW needs (support for) an idle animation.

Updated with Rin for the Industrial Revolution character, Samantha. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any walking animations - so she'll just look like she's floating. I picked a sprite that would best facilitate that, but if anyone can animate the walking dictionary to feel more.. floaty, then that would be fine by me.
