Higher intensity will seed more golems and cause stronger AI responses.
Ok makes sense.

Medium and Low Difficulties are the same
If they're the same then what's the point of having both of them instead of just one?

setting the Difficulty to High will cause very primitive ExoGalactic Strikeforces to appear.
So the exos only appear if the difficulty is on "High", ok. But primitive? Primitive like weak? Are exos waves of stone age robots throwing sticks and stones at the player? How does the difficulty differ from the intensity? EDIT: Ok apparently it says the difficulty option is not currently used.

And when I started the game I got an error message:

Settings:

Save file and log attached.

EDIT: Started the game again (although with slightly different settings) and didn't get the error anymore.

Because it was never finished. They haven't been touched in months other than what I did.

But primitive? Primitive like weak? Are exos waves of stone age robots throwing sticks and stones at the player?

Not weak primitive, more just the basic function is there, from what I know. What Badger did with Risk Analyzer Exo-waves I think improves them in general...
Autistic, so apologies for any communication difficulties!

Puffin is entirely correct. Low/Medium is there for future proofing, since they will be differentiated eventually. And "primitive" refers to the state of the code. For example, exos used to have ships all travelling at their default speeds, so they would show up piecemeal and be easily destroyed. This is no longer the case.

I have updated the description for clarity.

The error you saw is from the visual code; it tried to generate a Notification (the popup notifications like wave warnings, etc), and it couldn't find the right graphic for it. That's Chris' department I'm afraid. If you can find a consistent reproduction scenario it would be appreciated!

Low, Medium and High difficutly golems should now work as they did in AIWC. Low difficulty golems have no AIP cost, medium difficulty has AIP cost, high difficulty has no AIP cost but does cause exogalactic strikeforce attacks.
