Want to help out with the Kickstarter?
« on: October 14, 2016, 07:09:23 pm »
If you're wondering "How can I help out with the Kickstarter", I have a way for you to provide a ton of help for us, without any cost (Though we would appreciate your backing, of course). If you could sign up for our Headtalker campaign, we can get the word out about the kickstarter, and hopefully reach our goal even faster. In addition to signing up for that, making social media posts about the Kickstarter is always helpful in getting the word out and making sure the game comes to fruition.

A little bit about Headtalker, taken from an email I sent to Draco:
Quote
Basically Kickstarter but instead of money you use your social media account. Once you reach your goal of X subscribers and the end date, everyone's Facebook/Twitter/IG/etc. sends out a message at once. So it coordinates massive social media pushes. Never hurts to have more eyes on the Kickstarter.

Exactly like a Thunderclap except not so many paid for features.

What is a Headtalker campaign?
Basically a people-gated social media push. You write a message and set a goal for X number of people to sign up with you, and when you pass the goal all of your social media accounts fire the message at once.

Done....although I've hardly ever used Twitter so I haven't added much social reach at all.

I don't use social media at all. I write emails if I want to say something to a friend or relative.

I have a twit account, and apparently a reach of about 69, but yeah, I pretty much don't use it.  There've been a few people I've used it to contact (because in one case a company did not have an email address and I needed to report a bug, so they had twitter and facebook...) but I mostly ignore it.

I don't even have any social accounts though I suppose I'll make 1 just to add to the count.

Wish G+ was included. That's where I'd make a real impact. I don't even have Facebook. But then again, I've already posted twice about the campaign on G+ so it's not like they haven't seen it.

G+ is still a thing?

That is too bad. Thanks for your help though!

I've been pimping you guys out to my local ACM club at UCF. However the problem is they're mostly just poor college students.
