Subdomains!

In light of the celebration about AI War 2's funding and the holiday spirit, I have come up with brand new subdomains you can use to access all of arcengames.com!

I will be attempting to phase out the subdirectory (arcengames.com/forums/), and replace it with subdomains (forums.arcengames.com). But wait! I have this bookmarked, will that be a problem? Not at all. The subdirectory will remain active for the foreseeable future, and quite possibly indefinitely. The only difference is when you click links you'll notice that everything is taking you to forums.arcengames.com instead.

At the moment, here are the existing subdomains and their corresponding sub-directories:

• forums.arcengames.com
• arcengames.com/forums/
• bugtracker.arcengames.com
• arcengames.com/mantisbt/
• survey.arcengames.com
• arcengames.com/limesurvey/
• wiki.arcengames.com
• arcengames.com/mediawiki/

Note that text can be added after the last / and www. can be added to the front of arcengames.com.

You may also notice that the URLs for the forum look much prettier. This is a part of my ongoing effort to make everything look better. If it impacts performance, let me know and it can be easily disabled. It shouldn't have any impact however. The first time you load a page may be slower than when you loaded the page before, but that would be because the cache had to be wiped for the new URLs.

Have you finished this, or is it still in progress? When I try to get to the wiki through either the main link here, or the link you left on the steam forums, it takes me to a page that is slightly . . . off.

So sorry for the late reply!

This should be fixed. Any URL that matches the criteria of *arcengames.com/mediawki/* will be redirected to https://wiki.arcengames.com/$2

Example of how it should work (And appears to work on my end):

Navigate to arcengames.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Sidebar
Get redirected to https://wiki.arcengames.com/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Sidebar

Note that the pattern also detects arcengames.com/mediawiki and redirects that to wiki.arcengames.com. So, that should fix all the trouble people have been having. If there are still any issues, let me know and I can fix them!
