Reset Custom campaign Settings

I finished my first foray into AI War 2 last night - the Helping Hands scenario. That was quite fun.

I wanted to explore custom campaign generator settings (I may be getting the name wrong) and as I played around with the various options I discovered that if I left and when to the main screen, then returned to the custom campaign settings, it would retain the settings I changed from default. For example, I set some faction to be ON and it kept that, while the default was OFF.

What I could not find is how to set those defaults back globally for the campaign generator. Did I miss some tick box or button?

I have a similar question. Have any default options changed since AI War 2 was first released? I installed the game early on, and applied updates as they were released. Even so, I have yet to play a custom campaign. So far I have only played quick starts. If I were to begin a custom campaign now without changing any options, would my settings be the same as if I had just installed the latest patch?

Start a custom game then return to the main menu. I believe this reset the lobby.

Default options are used in quickstart. Starting a custom game without changing things means playing like in quickstart, baring the quickstart creators specifically changing those options (like there is one where some fleets are sparser).

@Rudhek2: so, yes. Your settings would be the default ones according to the last patches.
