Just finished my first game. Had a question about the Intel tab.

Hey all.  So I just finished my first game (the super easy quick start where you have marauders helping you the entire time) and I was curious about one thing in particular:
The Intel tab.  First of all, I really really like this tab.
It gives you a nice overview of all the different things you might be interested in taking or blowing up. 

However, it doesn't seem like there's any sort of way to either dismiss things I'm not interested in or highlight things that I want to go after next.  I remember back in classic there was a way to make notes, and it's not that I'm looking for that exactly.  I'm just sort of looking for something like, right click on an objective to mark that as the next one I'm interested in.  Or right click on a certain fleet and mark it as something I don't want to capture, as it doesn't have ships that work with the technologies I've leveled up.

Is there a hotkey or option that I'm missing?  Or is this just not possible currently?

In any case, I had an awesome time and look forward to many more games.

I love the idea of being able to click on the Intel bar to change the objectives.

I'm imagining something like this. Items that are clicked go to the top of their section and get some different colouration (to say Important). If clicked again they go to the bottom of the section with colourization to say "Unimportant". If clicked a third time they go back to their original state.

Would that suffice?
