Saving Engineers?
« on: November 02, 2019, 10:53:38 pm »
Two things I'm certain of when playing AI War 2:
  • I'm going to loose
  • Every time I visit my planets, all the engineers are gone

Seems they rush into combat to repair things and die like flies.  I couldn't find a way to auto-rebuild them or tell them to be more cautious - anything I'm missing?

Automation settings are probably what you are looking for.  They can be autobuilt, and you can also turn auto-work or whatever it's called off so they don't automatically head into trouble.

You don't want to micro engineers - that way madness lies. But that's kinda what you have to do if you want them to stay alive in this most recent of game builds. (They were weakened. They now die. A lot.)

Ah cool.  I didn't know about automation options but found them thanks to your suggestion.  Thanks!
