Stands for "I Know,  Right?"

You said "I right, know", not "I Know, Right" :P

I'll definitely also be a Arch Linux tester on Monday, hopefully my 5 year old desktop isn't too bad.

Sweet!  Specs, perchance?

Ooh, good news from system76 -- my linux laptop will be here by the end of the day on this Thursday, the 2nd.  So that's extremely good news if there's anything funky going on early on in with the linux builds.  That's a relief on my end. :)

This gives me hope that it'll play well on my Surface Book. Excited to try that out. :D

Please do share specs when you let us know about how that goes, for better or for worse.  I'll be very interested to hear about that myself. :)

Sweet!  Specs, perchance?

Just booted up the alpha, looking good so far!

Specs are:
Intel I7-3820
16GB Ram
Radeon 7970

Maybe more like 4 years, not too sure. Also can test on my laptop later, which is even older, but at least has discrete graphics.

Seem to have run into a small issue with a 'ghost' ark, I've attached a screenshot.

Edit: Ghost ark seems to have gone away at some point.

Edit again:
Wow, I did not expect to be drawn in that much, played over an hour. Performance was still playable, but getting to the edge when I had full fleet of all Mark I and Mark II ships, plus Mark III missile frigates.

That's fantastic on the Radeon 7970! I'll leave the ghost Arks and so on to Ketih.

The next build should have better performance for lower-end cards by actually letting you turn down things like MSAA that would eat your GPU right now.
