AI War 2 v0.601 Released! "Grumpy Ark"

Release notes here!

This one is mostly cleaning up various issues that have been highlighted since we made Alpha 0.600 available to all backers (well, as many as we had steam-keys for, sorry about the delay while we get more from Valve).

But one very visible change is another revision to the art style to make it less "happy", as Chris discusses in this Kickstarter update:

We've made several attempts at unhappification-of-the-art since the beginning of the year, but stuff just hasn't looked grumpy enough! Hopefully this is another step in the right direction.

Wow, what an upgrade. I don't know how difficult that all was, but you (collectively) just made a huge difference. This is much easier on the eyes and much more good-looking.

Also, for Keith, a tweak for the way changing in-game speed is represented. I propose that instead of putting a 500 next time to the time (for 500% speed increase) you put a green +5 there. And if you are at 50% of the speed, you put a -5 in red there. This is basically identical to the way AIWC works, and I don't see any value in changing it. Leaving behaviour the same will make things easy for AIWC players too.

btw, the tutorial mode "all planets are Mark 1 and AI doesn't send waves" is wonderful for testing, especially for trying to work with the Nanocaust/Dyson Sphere lategame. Can that be left as an undocumented option somehow? Or just renamed as "Sandbox AI Type"

Hey guys, just started the game up to check out the current build.  I'm still on Linux, and I don't seem to be able to select anything in the menus.  If I hit the ESC key I get a NullReference error.  Happy to do more troubleshooting if you have suggestions.

That error is from hitting Esc. I do note that https://bugtracker.arcengames.com/view.php?id=19278 is a bit similar, in that it's linux and a button just isn't working.

.602 is going to be a huge release! I am excited for all the changes. Is there anything in particular y'all are waiting for before it ships?
