What's the general consensus on AIP in AI War 2? I find I'm far too careful about taking over planet,s but almost feel compelled to take more and more territory just for science and additional Hacking points. My current game I'm sitting at 226 AIP, my 4 fleets are about 100 strength combined, I have a few chokepoint systems with about 65-70 strength on each in static defenses, etc. I can barely put a dent into a Mark V world, but I'm low on hacking points and used up most of my tech. Units are Mk III-V across my fleets with a few Mk.II's. Enemy waves are between 20-45 strength.
What are people finding their AIP at throughout the game? Having fun with the game, but I'm not completely sure if some of my playstyle paradigms are dated from AIWC.
