I was forgetting that many of the new ship classes come with mechanics that need to be implemented before they can actually be used. Thanks for the update.

Are you allowed to tell us about some of the mechanics that Keith is working on? I think Hacking is one of them since there's a bunch of Hacking related external code. Or have I already said too much, and there will be a Hunter/Killer waiting for me tonight....

I don't know, he might string me up if I get too specific.  ;D

But there's been everything in there from stubs for factions, to things like tractor beam underlying stuff, ions, warhead pieces, paralysis stuff, prep stuff for data centers, and so on and on and on.  Bits for nukes, black holes, alarm posts, cloaking, the list is really super long.

I have no idea as to the completion state of any of those particular items, but it's a lot of wiring up.  I gave you about a fifth of the list of broad line items from his svn commit notes, if even that.

I'm not sure what state things are in in Keith's opinion just yet.  There have been a LOT of under the hood changes, and I'm not sure if he wants to inflict that on folks immediately or wait until Monday. ;)
