[Fixed] DRM-Free AI War Classic is Trial Version?

(1/1)

Related question: the DRM free copy doesn't seem to have a key associated with it. You get this when you launch it.

As I already own the game, I'd hoped to give the DRM free copy to a friend with the extra steam key. He's probably fine on the steam end (hasn't reported back) but I was worried about this part.

When I first got my game WAY back when, even though I had put in a steam key to get it to download/install through steam. I still needed to put in the steam key separately when the game loaded up. So just take the key you received as the gift and shove it into that key spot near the top.

draeath:
Oh, it's the same algorithm for steam as it is in-game? I didn't realize that ('cause my old key is a completely different format)

x4000:
Wait, it did that with the download version that I sent out?  What OS was that on?  It was working fine for me when I tested it, but I must have goofed on something, apologies.  It shouldn't be asking you for license keys anymore these days.

x4000:
Okay!  The new version of AI War Classic is uploaded, and won't ask for a license key anymore.  I _think_ you should have gotten a new email about it, but please let me know.  Thanks!
