Strategic Targets of Indirect Value
« on: November 23, 2018, 05:21:34 pm »
I just watched this video from Real Engineering:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52VQdt0-5EQ

Summary: 19 lost bombers planes and 53 downed pilots using a revolutionary bomb hit 2 of the 3 dams in Germany during World War 2 causing significant indirect harm to the Axis' war effort.

The dams were rebuilt quickly and expertly in only 5 months, but at a cost of significant redirection of resources due to the immense importance of the hydroelectric power offered by the dams (costs far above the lost planes and experienced RAF pilots).

I am wondering if any targets of this nature might be available at some time ~in the future~ and what those targets might look like.

I thought about that, but was not entirely convinced.
