Hack to move a Dyson Sphere

(1/2) > >>

tadrinth:
Crazy idea: very expensive hack that moves a Dyson Sphere.

Can only be done on an unclaimed planet.
Can only be done if the Dyson is currently friendly to you.
Costs a LOT of Hacking Points (like 100 or 150).
Cost goes up by 50-100% if repeated.
All gatlings are destroyed while the sphere is moving, and it moves really slowly.
Possibly the sphere is killable while in motion, so you have to protect it while it moves, and possibly it gets exos sent at it the whole time.

BadgerBadger:
I have plans for allowing the Dyson Sphere to conquer the galaxy which I'm sure y'all will find out about in some future DLC

x4000:
The actual move of the sphere itself would be pretty hard, in that it's a background planet style and that might be a bit odd with that shifting I dunno.  It takes the spot normally given to the planet.  Maybe it would work easily with like two lines of code (entirely possible), or maybe it would eat the game.  Not sure yet. ;)

Fluffiest:
I don't like it. The dyson sphere is a shell around a star. It wouldn't fit through the wormholes, and if it moves to a new system, both it and the new system would be completely destroyed by the two stars colliding.

Ovalcircle:
Theoretically, you wouldn't move the Dyson Sphere itself. You would move the Dyson Sphere Warp Gate and have Dyson ships spawn across the galaxy from the Dyson Sphere.
