Ludicrous Range Observatory: One of the greatest scientific marvels, developed after the first AI War, this observatory will give you partial knowledge from neighbouring planets, but will not go over the normal cap. (The name is somewhat a reference, if poor, to the amusing names telescopes can sometimes show up with in reality).
Data Processor: Inspired by, but no where near matching, the AIs data centers from the previous war, this allows more turrets than normal to be controlled on this planet.

Natural Phenomena

Acid Cloud: This planet is enveloped in a massive cloud of acidic compounds. All ship armour thickness is reduced while on this planet, but acts normally elsewhere.
Extreme Ambient Energy: There is an incredible amount of ambient energy around this planet, but our collectors cannot harness this much. However, all ships on this planet will move faster; a result of overfeeding their engines. (This will actually affect you negatively defensively, as the AI will ALSO move faster!)
Rogue Mini AI Nest: Developed in the time between AI Wars, this is an experimental AI meant to avoid what caused the original uprising. Naturally, it failed. It will fight anyone on this planet, but considers leaving to be extremely risky, so will never do so. (Maybe make it invulnerable, so it's a constant threat. The nest, not the ships).
