Points balance

Now I have not played very much. But it seems to me that the points you get for building ships and the points you get for destroying ships needs some balance. In my game the AI is getting massive amounts of points for building all of there ships. It almost feels like they get as many points for making them as I do for destroying them. I think this could use a looking at and possible balancing. Do you loose points for loosing ships? might be an option.

The points gained by players and the AI are equal.  But, the AI tends to have 10x or more as many ships as you do.  The human-to-AI scores are apples-to-oranges, although the human scores can often get much better than the AI scores by the late game.  You can around twice as many points for killing a ship as you do for building it.
