Zenith Power Generators
« on: March 02, 2010, 06:41:16 pm »
Buildings like the "Zenith Power Generator" claim to increase waves against the planet they're on.

Does this mean that if I build it on a planet that has no enemy-facing wormholes, it won't increase wave size at all, because no waves will come against the planet it's on?

Or does it increase wave size against every planet under my control?

The first one is correct, it only affects the current planet. So yes, if you either capture all adjoining planets or destroy all their warp gates you'll not receive any penalty for holding it.

Yes, in my opinion it would be madness to ever capture a zenith generator or golem without clearing out the adjacent warp gates first (or installing a warp jammer command station).
Time to roll out another ball of death.

I tried that once, and figured, I will just triple my turrets.

That did not go well when the AI warped in 3x number of spaceplanes :)
