No Notification of Resistance ship assistance?

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I just noticed some Resistance frigates attacking an enemy world I had just knowledge raided. There was no kind of notification that this was taking place. Are we supposed to have some kind of heads up?

I think you only get the heads up if you have a scout there(thats what I've noticed with marauders).

I ran into this same situation where I ran across some resistance fighters that I didn't see a notification for. I'm sure I had a scout on the planet, because I'd moved one there a while previously as I cleaned up some other planets with my main fleet. At the time I assumed that I simply overlooked the notification, but perhaps not.

There is not presently a notification for resistance fighters, for a few reasons.  First, it's not a Bad Thing that you have to deal with.  Though, of course, neither is the Trader.  But, the resistance fighters can scatter to a great many AI planets at once, and so this is something that could then cause your notification log to be flooded.  Additionally, they only appear when you are attacking an AI fleet with a fairly sizable fleet of your own, so it's not something that should be all that unnoticed in most cases. 

Did you have over 300 ships as part of your knowledge raiding party?

No, but at one point I had momentarily popped in a sizable group of frigates to open fire on a group of AI ships that was approaching the wormhole (they never see it coming!  ), so that might have triggered it. I suppose no notification is fine - I'll just start keeping an eye out for it more.
