What do you mean by Base Ship Cap?  I get the concept but not where it's coming from.  If I start a game with different Unit caps settings then I get fighters at Ultra Low - 24, Low - 48,  Normal - 96, and High - 192.  Although your tool-tip isn't correct it's showing Low - 49, Normal - 98, and High - 196.

Is that base ship cap then Mk I + II on Normal or just Mk I on High?   

I was getting really confused since when I was checking the ships out on the planet selection screen they were showing the caps for using the Low setting.  Then I'd start up in the Normal caps and get a different number.  So then I thought I'd compare 2 ship types at the same time as I was checking out the different cap settings.  Those then came up twice as big as I had saw the first time...:'( (I did figure that reason out though)

So...nothing's wrong, just went looking for one answer and came back confused but nothing new there.

In know on paper the grenade launcher has gotten a massive boost, but until swarmer ships are balanced so they are not just a box of tissues to soak the tears of my cpu I don't think they will truly shine.

The grenade launcher will also counter fighters (Light hull type).
