Just general groupings of achievement by type.  Often it's by difficulty, but I think that some of the later ones were reserved for minor faction related stuff, etc.  It's just an organizational aid, really.

Ah, okay, so nothing to worry about. I first thought they were associated with the expansions.
Thanks for the info.

Edit: Okay, so one thing I noticed after this information is that "5" is tied to special/alternative endings. Never realized this before.
