Just looking for a list of bonus ship types that make you guys ragequit or whatever when the AI gets them.  I know some of you never back out for such a reason, and some of you would probably ban half of the types if you could, but I wanted to ask more directly.
Have ideas or bug reports for one of our games? Mantis for Suggestions and Bug Reports. Thanks for helping to make our games better!

None at all.  Not only are there any that would make me not want to keep playing, there aren't any that even bother me a little.  That's not to say such a ship might not someday exist, but it hasn't so far, and I doubt it ever will.

While you'll have to take my word with a pinch of salt given my inexperience, I haven't really had any problems with any particular ship type. Even the Maws. I haven't run into anything that doesn't have a counter yet.

I also keep playing despite what the AI gets. I rather dislike when they get Spire Stealth Battleships, but I find that finding a way to neutralize them is a major part of the challenge that I enjoy.

As of 6.009, the only really annoying ship was the Zombard, IMO. The sniper immunity + long range + autokite is... unpleasant.

I do remember a particular game where I had 200+ Zombards parked on one planet with an SCL (but there was a forcefield over it and the Command Station), and I had no way of dislodging them. But I was also pretty much ignoring the AIP in that game, so can't really say if this represents anything.

So far each have their weaknesses that can be exploited.

You cloak? Here is this military comm station...

I considered zombards balanced before, but now even more so due to enclaves. The drones themselves reproduce so rapidly they zerg the zombard shots, while the zombards can't attack then enclaves themselves...their own kiting behavior kills them in the end.

The only ships that really make me angry are Zenith Bombards, and only if I'm making heavy use of Golems/Spirecraft/Starships.
I can already tell this is going to be a roller coaster ride of disappointment.

Gravity Drains are very annoying to play against but I don't quit just from the AI rolling something. Also I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to the AI rolling SGDs anyway.

And 100 TDLs' weakness is... ? The only "counter" (kind of) is a very good psychiatrist.
No the answer isn't "Ships immune to tractor beams herp a derp". Yes Snipers counter TDLs very well but.. first of all the player must choose Snipers and then unlock Mark IVs.

Tackle Drone Launchers
-Special Force TDLs.. oh.. my.. god.. dozens and dozens of TDLs push my entire fleet to the edge of the gravity ring.. gg.

Railclusters
-Very high dps
-Very high health

Zenith Siege Engines
-All 50 of them that came with the wave ignore all of my turrets and ships and focus on the Command Station and destroy everything under the Force Fields.

Maws
-20 Mark II Maws have 84000000 health, take forever to kill, move faster than Missile Frigates and pretty much insta swallow my fleet.

Any infinite range ship*, as I find carting around scout starships or cloaker starships around with my fleet and trying to keep them close not very fun.

However, that is only for an initial unlock. If they get it later on in the game, I'm fine with it, as at that point, my economy is strong enough to not mind a few losses from somewhat loose macro.

Yes, lots of other ships are somewhat annoying in AI hands, but none of them (except the one class mentioned above) enough so to make me "rage quit" and reroll. Every single ship has a counter that is available at all times, though admittedly, some have counters that require more micro than I really find fun.

*and tackle drone launchers and Spire blade spawners don't count for this. They have a ridiculously huge effective range, but not infinite.

What if TDL drones with a lot slower but still faster than trying to ships but had a ton of Health and a lifetime about the time of the Drone?

 They would still do their job but they could be countered more easily?
