Somewhat important to note that each heavy module's opportunity cost is 3 light modules. Kinda.
For FF/DD champions, it's 4, for CA/BB champions it moves towards 3.

The standard light modules are actually quite effective when used against bonus types.

I actually agree that the Plasma Siege cannons need to be able to target smaller things. This would drastically increase their viability outside the nebula and improve the Spire Shadow overall as well. Keep in mind, that means AI Spire Shadows become MUCH nastier too. Right now you can stomp AI Spire Shadows that equip mostly Plasma Siege mods in heavy slots, simply because they cant do much to mobs of smaller fleet ships. As for an XP farmable location, I think that might be neat, but I have no clue how to make one that would mesh with the lore at all. Still I suppose it would be nice if other people got to see what having MKV of everything looked liked. /me tries to hide his lvl 100+ champion...
