Waves with destroyed Warpgate

Hey x,

When a Wave is announced and you destroy the Warp Gate before it arrives the Wave still hits the System. Is this intended or a bug?

Sorry if this is a duplicate, i did not find something similar.

Correct. The AI ships are already on their way to your planet if the wave timer is counting down, and destroying the warp gate cannot stop them. (That's the story and we're sticking to it :D )
