Warp Relays too easy?
« on: June 25, 2015, 04:04:55 pm »
Warp Relays are too easy to wait for spawn and take down with some raid starships. I almost posted it on mantis, but while I have no idea right now on how to make WRelays a more interesting feature, I preferred posting here.

Do you too think they are too easy? Or do you disagree? Have you ideas?
Please excuse my english: I'm not a native speaker. Don't hesitate to correct me.

I dunno. My last few AIW experiences ended up being "The AI is everywhere, all the time, no matter what" deals, and the WRs just didn't factor into my thinking at all. There's so many ways for the AI to get into my systems, and so much distributed defence, that the WR threat was just negligible.

I would be fine with WRs getting tougher if it took a much larger threat fleet to build them. After a game or two i stopped playing with them because it was annoying but not interesting to have lots of insignificant 50-ship fleets around my systems spawning them all the time.
