I noticed Lightning/Armored Warheads also get smaller with higher Marks.  Kinda interesting.  I've found this makes Mark IIIs fairly worthless.  They do barely more dmg/AIP but in a much smaller area and cost a lot more resources.

Thanks for the quick response Keith.

In the code Explosion range is 2500/mk on that one (yes, divided by, I dunno exactly why).

I assume this is a carry over from the Human warheads, the Lighting Warheads radius does get smaller with the higher marks which I believe is intended.

I'm up to the Parasites for now - I have a question about the destination of freshly reclaimed ships and want to check the description.

If I have the "Reclaimed Ships Rally to Rally Post" off, then they will always stay put.

If I have the "Reclaimed Ships Rally to Rally Post" on, then they will:
- rally to a rally post directive if present,
- rally to the command station on allied planet,
- stay put if none of the above.

If this so?

They will go to a MRS, although I can't recall if this requires "Reclaimed Ships Rally to Rally Post" to be on.  I don't think I've ever seen them go to a Command Station.  Also, this bug still exists last I checked.

Well okay, I have redirector rally posts next to all of my command stations - it's possible that the ships are rallying to that instead.

I would like to ask people what they would like to see in the general strategies and tactics pages. At the moment, the individual ship lists are fairly  separate from the main AI war page - which is essential a sprawling FAQ page, and so we'll need to incorporate the recent work into that more readily.

Once more ships pages are named and complete, was planning to make a short write-up of delaying tactics comparative to shipe-types. Y'know, covering the five main avenues: force fields, tractors, gravity, paralysis and engine damage. Taking the form of, say, a table of green ticks and red crosses.

 - Raid starships are only susceptible to gravity, and are also immune to black holes. On the other hand, AI Raider Guardians can be engine-damaged and blocked by force fields.
 - All melee ships are only susceptible to gravity and paralysis, being immune to force fields, tractors, and engine damage.
 - All Neinzul ships are immune to Mines (relevant to EMP-mine paralysis), and engine damage.
 - All Spire ships are immune to paralysis (as well as reclamation), and are generally resistant to engine damage (10,000+ eng. health)
etc.

= = =
Note to self:
Not done so far: Armor-ship, Autocannon Minipod, Infiltrator, Neinzuls, Spire fleet-ships onward.

I'm envisioning the main/existing AI War pages getting incorporated into the new strategy section somehow.

Not sure how yet, that's waiting until the base stats and reference pages get created.

They all use the old control-node graphic, I don't remember off the top of my head what it's called.

Hmmm.

Mines apparently did not get the message about the data file update.

Both the Area and EMP mine only hit one target and have a 100 range apparently.

Can I get clarification please?

Thanks,

D.

They use different stats than the normal stuff, even damage, but I don't have it in front of me right now.

Alright.

I think the EMP mine needs a look too, description says "paralyzes for 60 seconds" but the ability says "Paralyze x10" which is 10 seconds I believe?

Also, is the EMP mine's burst considered AOE for the purposes of the AOE Immunity trait?

I'm offline for the rest of the night, so no rush on this.

edit: Rocketry corps, what missiles do the different mark levels of silos fire?

edit: Is the Neinzul Silo (the one build by hybrids) enabled in the game at the moment?

Getting there with the fleet-ships.

Questions to check:
 - Do the AI's Zenith Viral Shredders suffer from cap-limitations? That will severely dampen their enthusiasm for reproduction. (Hopefully they always reproduce at the default rate.)
 - Teleporting ships can still tunnel through wormholes with Force-fields placed on top of them?

= = =

Edit: I haven't seen Lightning Turrets or Ion Cannons yet in the ship list. Are the Guardians and Guardpost versions spelt "Lighting" as well in-game?
Edit: I manually added them to the template to remind ourselves that they're missing.

If you have a save of this happening (assuming said teleporter is not ff-immune, but I don't think there are any of those), send it my way so I can fix that.  But I'm pretty sure that it was fixed a while ago.
