Two unknown ships till now

Yesterday I completed the Fallen Spire Campaign and got the third Fallen Spire Achievement ;-) The ending was really marvellous!


I encountered a new vessel called "Alien Core Starship" which has got no entry in the AI War wiki. I wonder when the AI sends this ship? Is it a special Fallen Spire starship?

And the wiki has got an entry about the "Spire Super Dreadnought". But as far as I know there was no Super Dreadnought in my game. Is the wiki at this point maybe outdated?

The Core starship, as far as I recall, does turn up in normal games- although in my opinion it could do with a new bag of tricks so that it's not just a Mk5 flagship by another name...

As for the Imperial Spire Super Dreadnought, there should have been two in with the very first fleet to come through the transceiver- although given the number of other ships coming through at the same time, it might be easy to miss. Those are the only two, as far as I know.

Core Starships are on the wiki and they do show up in normal games, especially on homeworlds and in exos.  They used to be essentially "Mark V Flagships", back when Flagships, Zenith Starships, and Spire Starships were all part of the same tech line.
