This is just abit of a thank you topic to the developers i guess. I got in touch with ai wars when the demo was out, but it didn't catch me enough to buy it.
But then 2 weeks ago a few friends were playing ai wars on a lan party i was, and it seemd quite abit of fun together. Even though they only lasted an hour against the ai, it was pretty epic. So my roommate suggested that we should buy this game and play together, and so i did
.
We also managed to get a third person in and all 3 went on skype to communicate abit better. The first five hours went pretty well, we managed to locate 4 data centers and several research and weapon factorys. Also we found the home planet of 1 ai, but it is to far away at the moment. But after five hours i had to pay a high price for a early mistake, I had never bothered to destroy the enemy planets adjecent to my home planet. I never attacked them cause the had very few recourses, so thought it wasnt worth raising the ai. About 300 bombers came trough but i had them outnumbered. Unfortunatly they ignored all my forces and went straight for my command station... and blew it up. At that point we found out losing 1 home planet does not end the game
They pushed on and took down another of my planets before they could be stopped. Now i have to stop the assault on the enemy and start rebuilding my homes, and snipe the surrounding warp gates. Unfortunatly our 3rd guy had to go to sleep cause he had to work the next day, But i also started feeling abit tired.
When i looked at the clock i understood why i was starting to feel sleepy, it was already 7 o`clock in the morning lol.
We three have busy lives so it might be a few days before we can continue this, But i just wanted to say
thank you devs and continue working on this awesome game
