Question regarding Hybrids
« on: June 18, 2013, 05:52:18 pm »
Hey. Sorry if there's already a topic for random questions that I missed, and this is a simple one.

I know that with hybrids, there's something regarding the Dyson Sphere and the super hybrid. My friend and I want to see what happens.

What settings will this occur on? Advanced Hybrids Anything? Obviously the Dyson needs to be there, does it need to be on a specific intensity too?

Hybrids must exist, Advanced Hybrids must be on seven or higher (with the AI having some normal hybrids as well, I think), and the Dyson must exist (no intensity requirement).
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

Thanks. Normal Hybrid Intensity can be anything, too? Hybrids 4 Advanced Hybrids 7 Dyson 5, perhaps?

yup that should work. I believe that if you put advanced hybrids on 10 you'll see even more interesting dyson sphere + super hybrid stuff ;)

Doesn't Antagonizer just require Advanced Hybrids 4, or did it get bumped up?

No, for the plot to activate at all, you need AH 7. At this point, the whole plot will happen.
Higher intensities make it happen faster.
No super hybrid appears below 4.

All intensities increase hybrid nastiness to some extent (forget how exactly, I think rate of maturing).
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

Super Hybrid appears even if Advanced Hybrids is disabled. It just doesn't do those nasty things. It's simply a big ass Hybrid.

Huh, really?
So what does the Super Hybrid do at various intensity levels?

With Advanced Hybrids disabled Super Hybrids are just Super Hybrids. They don't really do anything. I think they work like normal Hybrids.
