Save ingame settings ?

First of all, hi there. :)

A few weeks ago, i finally managed to convince my buddies to play this awesome game with me and we are having a blast.
Since then we started quite a few games due to different combination of players, testing out difficulty levels etc.

By now most of us have some preferred settings like fleet default to group move, build x engineers per system and the like.
Is there any way to save ones preferred settings ? I looked through the files in the game folder to no avail, but since I am cursed with temporary blindness at times,
i thought i ask. ;)

On a different note, have there ever been translation projects going on for AI War ? Because i might be inclined to translate it into german if someone (that would be you developers  8)) provides me with the ingame text.

As far as I know there isn't a way to save in-game settings for all your games.  As for the translation thing...well, they should be along any moment to chime in.

bigdread, you can voice your support for saving in-game settings here: http://www.arcengames.com/mantisbt/view.php?id=2158

Once you make an account, you can make a vote of support. This topic is already high on the tallies, so I think it will be addressed sooner rather than later (although it could be a while. it will just have a high priority)

Due to it sitting at the top of the tallies (last I checked), that is one of my next todo's, yes.

Excellent, i'm delighted, will vote now and look at the tallies first next time. ;)

BTW, if there's translations to be done...I'm a semi-trained translator, so my services / help are / is available for free. It's not like AIW is very text-intensive, after all.
