I'm specifically looking for the piano bits in the expansion theme. I've got part of it down by ear, but I can't figure out how he does the supporting lows... they are hard to pick apart from the main part of the song. Some simple sheets would work fine, I don't have the skill he does (yet)

Sounds like he did two passes during the recording... that's why I am having such a problem with this song

EDIT: Silly me, I forgot about the sustain pedal... I'm using a cheap keyboard so I can't do what he does

I spent the better part of the last two and a half days figuring out how to get MIDI working on a debian install with gameport support. I'm using an old keyboard and dug out an old soundcard just for this

I'm using Rosegarden, and I should be able to import the MIDI file and port it to LilyPond if Pablo is so willing to share any MIDI's.

 I'm sorry it's taken so long to get back to you on this. I don't have any tab work out for these tracks, but if you'd like to speak to me more about an individual track, then e-mail me at [email protected].

I would love to talk you through each passage individually, maybe even send you mp3's of the individual layers of the songs. The track with the two themes playing simultaneously is a double layer, but I can show you how I did that, and everything else that went into it.

I'll be starting a page about the working's of all the sound effects and music in the coming week.

I'm glad you guys enjoy the music so much. It's definitely my passion, and I'd love to share and tricks of the trade with anyone interested.
