No reason they wouldn't be. I'm picking up an Amiga in the near future, and I've used old floppies recently that worked (Friend of mine got a C64, we were coding on it )
Ah. I see you haven't met my arch-nemesis, entropy. They definitely hold up better than tapes, but they still have a finite lifespan.
Well yeah, anything has a finite life span, but you're talking to the person who found a few 8-Tracks in a glove box of a car from the 70's, popped them in, and started listening to them.
