Well, did did get a bump in priority, but we still didn't quite get everything squared away with Steam for today. They are very close to being done, but want to make sure that their support staff is on hand to make sure that if there are any issues with the release, it will go smoothly. I heartily agree with that, so we are bumping this to first thing (PST) tomorrow for Steam. Direct2Drive and GamersGate should also both have the game out tomorrow, and we'll make the official announcement of the release tomorrow, though the 3.0 version and will be available shortly. I am not sure as to the exact status of Impulse with 3.0 and the expansion, though I know they are quite close; they should be completely finished sometime in the morning tomorrow (EST), I expect.
Sorry for the slight delay, but this is how it goes sometimes -- coordinating a release like this, even after the code is complete, is a gargantuan task (as in, I've been working on that solidly for 5 hours now, and still have another couple to go before I am fully done with everything). Mostly I think I underestimated the time required to get all of those last post-coding aspects finalized.
More news in the next couple of hours, as we get this fully launched on our own site, and then lots more news tomorrow as it fully launches pretty much everywhere else!
