Steam keys for Ancient Shadows

CD keys for AI War: Ancient Shadows do not register on Steam.  However, if you've bought from our store and would like a Steam key, just send us an email at arcengames (at) gmail (dot) com with either your proof of purchase or the email address that you used in order to make the order, and we'll send you a Steam key back.

Sorry for this taking so long, but there were numerous challenges with this, as was discussed in prior threads.  But I had the opportunity to resolve this today while also discussing something related with Valve, and so took it.

I'm glad you did this. It's not something I personally need, since AS and all other expansion packs run through the AI War executable (so there is literally nothing keeping you from using the expansion with Steam), but for a certain kind of person who just has to see all their games show up in Steam, you've taken steps to satisfy them. That's just a good idea.

I prefer having them on there so I don't have to track down a download and CD key in my email every time I need it (Which happens surprisingly often) so it's good to have. Already got mine though

How do I add keys to Steam? Steam doesn't seem to notice I have all of Expansions installed and unlocked. I got a Steam Key for Ancient Shadows but I don't see anywhere to enter it in. (Zenith Remenant is the only expansion I got through Steam, I've gotten all the others through Arcen's store)

Edit: Never mind, I found out how. It's under the Game Menu, Activate a Product on Steam.

If anyone doesn't get their key in a timely fashion, please do ping us again.  We try not to miss anything, and it's nothing personal if it does happen; but don't just think we're ignoring you or that our typical response time is a week or something!  Generally we try to get keys back to folks the same day they request them if it's during the work week.

So glad Arcen is sending us steam codes. Was getting a bit worried when
i tried to register the game on steam yesterday and it was still not acceptin my old key. My worries disappeared when i saw this thread though.... you guys rock!

Hmmmm... Mine worked perfectly, I purchased it from Gamestop though, So it may have been a steam key anyway.

It's on their DD platform, I'm assuming because AIW was on Stardock before Gamestop bought it (That's when I got my copy anyway).

AI war is still sitting on Impulse's digital shelves.. But yeah a boxed copy of the AI war saga would be rather neat.
