My strategy for dealing with one was to place a mk. II military station under a forcefield right next to the superterminal. Six or so engineers under the field as well, along with remains rebuilders. Placing turrets around the field. The military command's translocation shots scattered most of the ships, and the turrets were kept alive constantly by the shielded engies+rebbuilders if any were destroyed. A fleet is still necessary, but this works pretty well in my experience.
And if it gets too much, you can just, as Philo said, remove the CC and it will stop.
