So I'm going to ask the proverbial question that I'm sure has been answered before. Would the key given by Steam work on a non-Steam game? The reason I'm asking is although I DO have Steam installed (because I have bought Iron grip from them and Civ V from Gamersgate which requires Steam) I abhor them. I have yet to even get them to recognize ANY of my store-bought retail games (trying to add them to it) even when I use my legit CD-keys (Bioshock most recently comes to mind.. it failed). So if I'm guessing, I can't add the game and expansions I bought here.. I can't do the reverse; buy a key off Steam and use it on mine.. either.

I've never tested it, but I'd be willing to bet it would work just fine.

As far as the sale goes, I think I might get Ancient Shadows, even though I bought into the beta.  Steam is dragging their feet on key activation again.

Arcen Games keys do work on both Steam and non-Steam equally well. Which can be rather unique on Steam yes?

Same here. I just bought it at full price the other day. I forgot about the steam sales, but then again, the more money Arcen gets, the better

Heh, I think there's very few of Arcens products I don't own doubles of at this point xD Probably not LotS as I was given that as a gift for making the tutorial vids...but otherwise I think I own all the other game in at least doubles >_>

Aren't that important? Eh, no.../me really wish there's more people who play Nexus so the Kickstarter for 2nd game would have been successful...

Anyway, I really hope that TB would do video on AI War already...would be fun watching him playing with other TGS members...(/me imagines TB and Criken playing AI War together)

As much as I'd love to see a series on AI War, a part of me tells me that unless the commentary is awesome, it will end up being boring as hell. It's one of the big things that tells me "Hey, never record this game. Not on your life."
