Spire Scout, does it alert planets?

I sent a Spire scout to scout three plants away from my border. Now I noticed that all three are now alerted, and not only the first one connected to my planets.

Does the Spire scout alert planets it passes by?

I'm whacking my head against a system with a SuperFortress, which I want to get past as it leads to a dead end, so thus eliminating one region where the AI could attack me. But now when those planets are alerted 3 deep, they'll all be reinforced while I whittle away that superfortress. Luckily I have a Cursed Golem helping somewhat.

If you're running the latest version, that's a bug.  For a long time Spirecraft Scouts did indeed put planets on alert, which I found really useful for tricking the AI into reinforcing planets I didn't care about.  But then...

Maybe post a save, so we can check there's nothing else that would be alerting those planets?

Sure, here's the save.

The planets I'm referring to are the ones to the right of the bottommost planet I currently have.

What version are you running?  I cannot load the save (I get an ArgumentOutOfRange exception), and when I looked at it in notepad, it says "3.0.0.0" on the first line.

Yikes, yes, there were some bugs preventing loading saves from that old.  Just put in fixes for those.


Anyway, yea, I don't think this is the right save, as Spirecraft Scouts did not exist in 3.0.
