Snipers/Spiders have historically been in the "OP, but we'll leave it alone for now" place on the graph, though it's possible the Spider's K cost is a bit high now. Anyway, the re-imagining of the Spider did not meet with a favorable reception so I figured I would just leave them as-is with a moderate re-adjustment to bring them closer to balanced. As it is, infinite-range turrets have substantial advantages over other turrets, and you get the Sniper for free.
